Consilior sets course for succession

Raphael Benz joins the Basel-based wealth manager as Partner and Deputy CEO and will, together with Tobias Bänziger, gradually assume ownership of the company over the coming years. At the same time, Consilior is strengthening its team, including in Delémont, and systematically expanding its multi-family office offering.

Reorganisation of the Management

As early as 2025, the Executive Board was expanded with the appointment of our COO, Olivia Hodel. This was followed in 2026 by the appointment of our CIO, Philipp Murmann, as a member of the Executive Board. This move specifically aimed to rejuvenate the Executive Board whilst also bringing in additional operational and specialist expertise. The new composition combines many years of experience with the next generation of leaders, creating a solid foundation for the long-term development of Consilior AG.

FINMA licence

Consilior has obtained the FINMA licence. The new Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA) of 1 January 2020 ensures improved investor protection. It includes various regulatory provisions and obliges financial service providers to connect to an ombudspersons’ office, among other things. As of 1/1/2023, financial institutions may only act as wealth managers if they are licensed by FINMA.
