Raphael Benz joins the Basel-based wealth manager as Partner and Deputy CEO and will, together with Tobias Bänziger, gradually assume ownership of the company over the coming years. At the same time, Consilior is strengthening its team, including in Delémont, and systematically expanding its multi-family office offering.
With the arrival of Raphael Benz, Consilior is settling its succession well ahead of time. Benz brings more than 20 years of experience in wealth management. Most recently, as Managing Director and Global Head Investment Consulting at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, he was responsible for investment advisory services for private clients in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. He also holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD. Together with Tobias Bänziger, he will gradually assume
ownership of Consilior in the coming years and steward the company for the long term. Tobias Bänziger joined Consilior last year, having previously served as CEO of a single-family office in the United Arab Emirates, after holding senior roles at Bank J. Safra Sarasin.

Further expansion of the team and development of the multi-family office offering
The team is growing as well: Gabriel Dubuis joined Consilior as a wealth adviser on 1 August 2026, strengthening the team. A Senior Private Banker with over 35 years of experience, Gabriel Dubuis spent over three decades at UBS, where he held senior leadership positions within wealth management international, before joining Pictet in 2024. He specialises in high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and entrepreneurial clients.
On 1 October 2026, Louis Kroni will join the team at the Delémont office, led by Didier Etique, Partner and Member of the Board of Directors, as an investment adviser. He joins from Banque Cantonale du Jura, holds the Swiss federal and international diploma as an expert in finance and investments (CIWM), and brings deep local roots to the region. Consilior’s establishment in the canton is a testament to its long-term commitment to the Jura and French-speaking Switzerland.
Strategically, Consilior is systematically expanding its multi-family office offering alongside its established wealth management business. In doing so, the company is responding to growing demand from entrepreneurial families for support that extends beyond pure asset management – from investment strategy to intergenerational planning. The multi-family office is thus set to become a central pillar of Consilior’s future strategy.
